Ficciones is a set of four miniatures produced by master illuminator Mojtaba Abu Talebi for Pejvaks solo exhibition If Need Be at Z33. The miniatures retell the legend of Amir Kabeer Hamadani a Persian theologian who is credited in some sources as bringing Islam to Baltistan and Ladakh. A legend is attributed to Hamadani as the figure who inaugurated the practice of 'glacier-grafting' in Ladakh and Baltistan as a method of defense to block mountain passes from Kashgari raiders.
